Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a fee for my initial consultation?
We typically charge an initial consultation fee to meet with you to assess your case. We do this because we will do our best to provide you with valuable legal advice at our meeting. In some instances, we may be able to help you solve your legal problem during this meeting, saving you time and money. If we decide to take your case after this meeting, we may credit this initial fee to the retainer we would charge to represent you.
There is no initial fee for consultations for matters involving personal injury or defective products.
Do I need an appointment to meet with an attorney?
We recommend that you schedule a time to meet with us. We are in court, often, and may not be able to meet with you if you simply stop by.
Are there any issues you don't handle?
In some instances, your issue may involve complicated multiparty litigation or specialized know-how outside our areas of expertise. If we believe your situation requires it, we will refer you to their attorneys to assess your case.
Can you guarantee a particular result in my case?
No attorney can ever guarantee any particular result in a legal matter. We will always do our best to maximize the potential for a successful outcome in your case using every resource and skill at our disposal.
